We haven’t changed our Facebook status or anything yet but it’s fair to say the team here at Shout Out Studio are collectively in love and we’re all chasing the same crush. It’s a long distance relationship but has never once been a letdown. We’re in love with Moo.
There. We said it.
Moo is an online printer/provider of premium business cards, postcards, stickers and the like. We use Moo for a number of creative printing projects. In fact, we constantly think of ways we can use them more. Let me tell you a bit about why we’re so infatuated.
Personality
Right from the start, we felt at home visiting the Moo site. The copy is informational and yet conversational. There’s personality in it. They don’t take themselves too seriously and you get a glimpse inside Moo’s culture in the way the products are described and presented. It feels like someone you know is behind the scenes. Someone you can trust. Someone you’d enjoy grabbing a pint with.
Moo not only makes us laugh but they show they care. They show they care about us with quick and friendly follow up and support and they show they care about the bigger picture with paper products sourced from sustainable forests and even a full-tilt Green option for business cards.
Process
It really doesn’t get much easier to order printed materials online. The site comes fully packed with a variety of top-notch Ready Made Moo Designs for you to use. Or, for those coming to the table with a design of their own, Moo provides an easy to use interface. Simply select the product (grab a free template to make sure your design and copy placements are on the mark) upload your design for each side, check your proof and you’re rolling. You can even connect and pull photos from your Facebook, Flickr, Etsy and more. Even add a QR code right from the Moo creation set up.

Printfinity
Here’s where we really get all googly-eyed. Easily one of the coolest things about Moo is what they refer to as Printfinity, which is the ability to print a different design or photo on every single card in the pack. This allows you to get really creative in the way you present yourself and your business. At Shout Out Studio we’ve used the Printfinity option for creating unique marketing materials for ourselves and our clients.
Product and Price
After all of the fun stuff; the personality of the brand, the focus on design, the no-fuss process, it really comes down to the quality of the product and the price you’re paying for it. Believe it or not, this is where Moo really shines. We’ve designed, ordered and used 3 different types of business cards far including the Green 100% Recycled and Recyclable cards which are manufactured using wind power. All of these, plus the postcards we’ve also used, have come to us in less than a week on a super high-quality paper stock with sharp, vibrant printing. You have to feel these cards to really appreciate them. You have to hand them out and see the reaction to appreciate the impact.
Oh, and that price thing….you’ll feel like you’re stealing.
It’s no surprise Moo has become a much-loved brand by all of those familiar. We’re certainly smitten. This is our way of passing them a note in class.
