A Collaborative Brand Refresh

The Big Idea Group, a Cincinnati-based marketing firm had just finished a new brand strategy for The Skin Cancer Center and needed a partner to help carry that work forward. Our job was to take the new positioning and audience research and create a fresh identity package including new logo, tagline, ad copy, and ad design.

The Design Approach

We designed three initial logo concepts, each highlighting key brand personality traits we while considering TSCC’s audience and how we wanted them to feel when they saw the logo. After 1 round of revisions, we finalized the new logo, including 2 variations, then rolled that work into a helpful style guide that contained logo usage guidelines, typography and color palette.

Our launch of the new brand identity consisted of a regional ad campaign built around seven Key Points of Communication. The roll-out required copywriting and design for magazine ads, social, billboard, commuter and free-standing kiosks.
